Don E. Skaff, D.D.S.
Dr. Skaff was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. He began practicing pediatric dentistry in Charleston, WV in 1990. He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Kanawha City. They have three children, Max, Kat and Sophia.
Dr. Skaff completed his undergraduate and dental degrees at West Virginia University. He completed his pediatric dental specialty training at the Children's Medical Center of Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Skaff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Skaff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and is a member and past president of the Kanawha Valley Dental Society. Dr. Skaff serves as a member of the Cleft Team at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital and as Clinical Assistant Professor of Hospital Dentistry at the WVU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Skaff has staff privileges at Charleston Area Medical Center, where he is the Section Chief for the Dental Section.
Dr. Skaff and his family are members of St. George Orthodox Church and St. Christopher Episcopal Church in Charleston. He enjoys reading, working out at the gym, vacation time with his family, and hanging out with his dogs, Auggie and Baxter.
Ashley is certified in dental assisting, sedation/nitrous monitoring, CPR, restorative/orthodontic expanded duties, coronal polishing and assists Dr. Skaff at Women & Children's Hospital when the patients need treatment there. She enjoys spending time with her family and shopping in her spare time.
Becky is the other half of our front office team. She will assist you with any of your insurance and/or financial needs. She enjoys cooking, gardening, WVU sports, "walk & talk's" with friends, Fitbit challenges, and most of all, having her family all together for special times.
Nancy first met Dr. Skaff at West Virginia University, where she earned her MBA and accounting degrees. She has enjoyed working by his side since Kanawha City Pediatric Dentistry opened their doors over 25 years ago! She and Dr. Skaff have 3 daughters, and celebrated the marriage of their middle daughter, Kat, in May 2016. Nancy's favorite pastime is playing with her dogs, Lily and Sally, and her puppy, Baxter. She also loves to read, volunteer, and working at her second job as a baker in the neighborhood bakery.
Morgan graduated from West Liberty University in May, 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She likes working for Dr. Skaff because of the fast pace in seeing children which makes the work day exciting. Her home town is Elizabeth, WV but she moved to Charleston after graduation. She enjoys running in her spare time and spending time with friends and family (plus her dog and cat).
Crystal graduated from BridgeValley Community and Technical College in 2014 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys taking care of children’s smiles every day which “keeps me on my toes!” She spends her spare time with her 3 year old daughter and hanging out with family and friends (plus her dog and cat).
Deena will be the one to greet you at the front desk and get your child checked in. She enjoys reading, cooking, crafting and watching sports with her cat, Carter, in her spare time.
Kesha is the newest addition to our hygiene department. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys working with children because they keep the appointment fun and exciting. She likes spending time with family and friends and hanging out with her dog, Mia.
Jessica recently joined our team after graduating from West Virginia Junior College with a degree in Dental Assisting. She enjoys going on road trips, attending sporting events (especially her brother’s), doing Zumba and spending time with her family, friends and 2 dogs.
